After the success of the previous editions developed with RUFA and Scuola Politecnica del Design, AI & Creativity returns in a different format: online!
My hope is that this course evolves into something more than just a series of lessons. I envision it as a temporary community and a shared field of exploration. A space where diverse creative visions can coexist, collide, and evolve. This is a place to experiment with new tools without the stifling pressure to "master" them.
To test.
To explore.
To fail — freely.
The focus is not on what AI can do in isolation. The focus is on what happens when you start creating with it.
What remains human?
What becomes hybrid?
What needs to be redefined?
Artificial Intelligence and creativity are no longer separate disciplines: they are converging into a new way of thinking, designing, and innovating.
In a world where generative AI tools are reshaping how ideas are explored and executed, the real challenge is not learning how to use technology, but learning how to collaborate with it creatively and consciously.
As a lecturer in Artificial Intelligence and Creativity at Scuola Politecnica del Design, I work with designers, professionals and creative thinkers to explore how AI can amplify human imagination rather than replace it. The focus is not on automation for its own sake, but on developing critical thinking, creative direction, and ethical awareness in the use of AI-powered tools.
This course is designed to help creatives understand where human intuition, experience and emotional intelligence remain irreplaceable, and how artificial intelligence can become a strategic partner in ideation, problem-solving, and innovation. Because the future of creativity doesn’t belong to machines alone, it belongs to humans who know how to use them with purpose.
On the 14th of January, Gloria will present her artistic research and her work at Aether & Hemera during a session led by Gaetano Corica and Gisella Gellini at the Rome University, La Sapienza. Stay tuned for the video recording soon!
