23 October, 2.00pm - 5.00pm
The Shed, 348-354 High Street, Gateshead

The course will be a relaxed project-focused introduction to programming for  interactive art and design.  We will spend a three hours session on understanding the many alternative platforms available (including Processing, Arduino, C/C++ and higher level as C#) and giving you the tools to find your way around their pros and cons.

The workshop schedule is flexible, based on the needs and wishes of the attendees.

Along the way we’ll be building a few small projects and gain inspiration from art, design and technologies for creating interesting and compelling reactive artworks.

Please bring your own laptop, so you can install the open-source software necessary to carry on your experiments afterwards.

This introductory course is aimed at beginners, introducing the core fundamentals. Any previous programming experience is useful, but not essential.

UPDATE: Course subscription has been blocked after the event. Get in touch directly if you are interested in training with us.
